Black refractory stoneware clay PRN CH 0–1.5 mm – 12.5 kg

Black chamotte refractory stoneware clay, in a rectangular block. Very plastic for modeling.
Very plastic and easy to work with. Excellent for large sculptures. Soft hardness. The clay must be kept well conditioned when not in use. 12.5 kg bag. Technical data sheet available for download.

– Dry mechanical strength: 25±10 Kgf/cm2;
– Fired mechanical strength: 300±50 Kgf/cm2;
– Total shrinkage: 9.0±1.5%;
– Water absorption: 3.0±1.0%;
– Cubic thermal expansion coefficient (ΔT20–400 °C): (250 ± 5) x 10 -7 ºC-1.
– Biscuit firing temperature: 990ºC–1000ºC
– Glaze firing temperature: 1260 ºC (±20 ºC)
